Women's Business Group (WBG Connects) is a diverse
boutique networking group that aims to build relationships and support women in achieving their professional goals.
With a vision to create an exclusively female-driven networking community in Greater Boston, WBG welcomes entrepreneurs, professional women, and their supporters.

WBG Connects has a rich history. It started as a Wellesley Chamber of Commerce subsidiary more than twenty years ago and was officially established as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit in Massachusetts in 2014. This transition allowed us to provide a platform for women to connect with like-minded professionals and make referrals in a relaxed, non-pressured environment.

When looking for a networking group, we've found our members feel like they're missing something from their experiences so far – they're looking for a community that goes beyond a sales pitch, business card exchange, and metric focused referrals. But what does that look like?
At WBG Connects, we offer experiences that blend the business side of networking with a twist of cultural, social, philanthropic, and exclusive experiences you may not find elsewhere. Many of our members are well-connected and have access to places where you may have yet to consider going.

Our membership base is a variety of women who are creatives, speakers, authors, artists, and buttoned-up professionals looking to expand their network in new ways but have come to a point in their careers where they also want to make new friends.

Our much loved Speaker’s Series is a virtual meeting where a female entrepreneur talks about a relevant subject of interest to our members followed by speed networking and breakout rooms.

Lunch & Learn is a monthly micro-program designed to educate our members, highlighting various topics that affect entrepreneurs in today’s business world.

Coffee Connects allows members to network in person, or online in a casual setting.
Members meet on the third Friday at
8:00 AM each month for 45-minutes.

Our members are a blend of entrepreneurs and established professionals, such as independent consultants, coaches, advisors, attorneys, speakers, founders, authors, podcasters, presidents, and business owners, who are looking to refer you business where they can, whether it be through their networks or for themselves. We want you to succeed; let us be your main source for reliable and high-quality connections.
EVERY WOMAN NEEDS TRUSTED ADVICE

With our range of experienced professionals–some even retired!–WBG is lucky to offer mentorship services. Once you connect with our members, you'll learn who has the right experience to help guide you on business matters. The right person will make all the difference. You'll feel more confident in your decision-making approach; know that you are not "in it by yourself" and have the assurance that some members want to help advise you if they can.
SOFT SKILLS ARE IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Become more aware on how you are perceived when presenting yourself to others through a range of mediums. Our Lunch & Learn sessions are 45-minute informational discussions that highlight a broad range of business etiquette related topics, such as making introductions, great first impressions, and professional email communications. We want you to master business etiquette: Allow us to show you the way.
WBG IS NOT ONLY A NETWORKING GROUP, WE ALSO ENJOY BEING SOCIAL

Restarted in 2022, we've introduced in person cultural, social, and philanthropic events ranging from coffee, brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour. We will open our doors to non-members for a few of our events and others will be exclusively for members only.
