Women's Business Group (WBG Connects) is a
boutique networking group that empowers members to build relationships and achieve their professional goals.
Aspiring to create a diverse, female-driven networking community in Greater Boston, WBG welcomes entrepreneurs, professional women, and their supporters.

Our organization has a rich history. It began as a Wellesley Chamber of Commerce subsidiary more than twenty years ago. In 2014, WBG Connects established itself officially as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit in Massachusetts. Becoming an independent entity has enabled WBG Connects to forge a unique domain where professional women can support and champion each other and make referrals in a relaxed, non-pressured environment.

Many of our members arrive at WBG Connects after a long journey of networking, trial, and error. The other groups they tried were all missing something essential: a sense of community that goes beyond the sales pitch, the business card exchange, and metric-based referral requirements. At WBG Connects, they are finding a home that feels right.
Here, we blend the business side of networking with a twist of educational, cultural, social, and philanthropic experiences you are unlikely to find elsewhere. Many members are well-connected and have access to places you may have heard of but not yet enjoyed.

The WBG membership base includes women in a variety of professions. WBG women are creatives, speakers, authors, artists, tech execs, entrepreneurs, and buttoned-up corporate executives. We all want to expand our business networks in new ways and have come to a point in our careers where we also want to make new friends.
If you’re looking to network with interesting, influential, enterprising women, please get in touch to see how WBG Connects may work for you.
